We suggest
using crayon, colored pencil, marker or paint on a
sheet of 8.5" x 11" paper. If your child has already
created a piece of art that you would like to use
but that doesn't fit these guidelines, we can likely
still work with it but please call before sending it
along.

If I want to email
you my artwork, what are the specs for
scanning?
Save your
art
as a jpeg or a tif. It should be at
least 150 dpi and should not exceed 5" x 5".

How much will I
pay for delivery?
Delivery charges are extra and vary depending where
you live in Canada. Refer to the "Prices" section
for shipping charges. Note that you pay one shipping
charge per total order (eg. you pay one shipping
charge for an order of 1 notepad, 1 card set and 1
gift tag set with 3 different pictures so long as
they are ordered by the same person and going to the
same address).

What are my
options for payment?
At the moment, we are only accepting cheques. Please
make them payable to "Natalie Shiraga"

How long does it
take before I get my finished order?
Delivery takes maximum 3 weeks. 2 weeks is our usual
turnaround, however, if it is a busy time of year
(ex. Christmas) then delivery is usually 3 weeks.

Will
anything not print well on the products?
Some art
mediums that don't print well include: florescent colors,
sparkly
glue, and anything that is raised off the page (like
a foam cutouts collage).

What is the maximum size?
We ask that you do not send us
artwork larger than 9" x12" without calling us first. If you
have artwork larger than 9" x 12" please call us at 905.787.0569
to see if we can custom
scan it for you. An extra charge might apply.

Will my original artwork be returned?
Your original artwork will be
returned with the order.

How much text can I add on the inside
of cards?
As much as
you want for no extra charge.
We do recommend, however, that you
take into consideration the size of the card because
the more words, the smaller the text, the more
squished it all looks. All message text
is printed
in black.

Will I get to see a sample before my
order gets printed?
Yes. So
Simple Designs emails you a free PDF proof of
your order for final approval before printing. Please check over your proof very
carefully. If there are any mistakes or
missing information on your proof, we must be
notified to make corrections. If you decide to
change the information from what was originally
requested, a
$5.00 charge applies.
Once we have received your proof approval, you are
giving us permission to print your cards exactly as
they are. So Simple Designs is not responsible
for any errors once a proof has been approved.

After I approve the proof, when will
my order be printed and delivered?
Orders are generally printed
within one to three business days. While we try to
deliver orders within a week of proof approval,
delivery can take up to three weeks depending on the
season.

What if I want my text laid out a
certain way?
Our
professional designer will lay out your text to achieve the best
results. If you have any special suggestions
that you would like us to follow, just let us know
when you send us your order.

Can I change or cancel my order?
We will gladly make changes for you
at no extra charge before your order has been
printed, unless you want another PDF proof in which
case a $5.00 fee will be charged. Once a proof has
been sent to you, orders can't be cancelled - you
will be liable for full order payment.

What if there is a mistake on my
cards?
If So Simple Designs prints an error
on our part after receiving the order, we will RUSH
re-prints and ship at no charge. So Simple
Designs must be notified of any problems within 5
days of receiving your order.

Can I return the cards?
So
Simple Designs does not take returns on custom
printed or custom produced items. If there is
a mistake made on your item that differs from your
order or your approved proof, we will gladly reprint
and ship your cards, promptly, free of charge. You may be asked to
send your order back, paid by us, to examine.
Shipping charges for all orders shipped out are
non-refundable.

Will the color match the original artwork?
We will match the colors to the original artwork. However,
there will always be a small variation. If you send us a jpeg
of the image be aware that colors could vary a little more
substantially because we do not have the original to compare it
to.

We do not guarantee
the timeliness or performance of any shipping service. We are not
responsible for damages due to shipping services. So Simple Designs reserves the
right to label the reverse side of the card with their corporate
copyright and logo. The colours on the final product may
vary from the original artwork.
